Cisco has released its first Deployment Guide for their 1st IOS based controller CT5760. You can find it in below URL or by click 5760_Deployment_Guide. This is initial version (65 pages) & may expand to full fledged configuration guide in coming days.

If you are already familiar with AirOS CLI commands, yes you have to learn equivalent IOS commands in order to configure 5760 or 3850 (wireless component). Here is the mapping for AirOS to IOS document. (I heard there are around 3k CLI commands in total
